Toby jumped onto the rug, his yellow socks sliding across the floor like tiny skaters. 'Papa Elian, can we go to the moon before the stars come out?' he asked with wide, hopeful eyes. Elian laughed, a deep and rumbling sound that felt like a warm hug. 'Of course, Little Explorer! But we will need a very sturdy ship for such a long trip,' Elian replied, kneeling down to Toby's level. They began gathering every soft cushion and fuzzy blanket they could find, piling them high in the center of the living room.
