Account and Data Deletion

Delete your Dream Tales Maker account

You can delete your account and its data at any time, in the mobile app or on the web. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

In the mobile app

Open the Dream Tales Maker app and sign in.
Go to Profile.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

On the web

Sign in to your account.
Open Settings.
Scroll to Delete account, type the confirmation word, and confirm.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:

Your stories and all of their pages
Illustrations and character images, including the image files stored in our file storage (Cloudflare R2)
Narration audio files generated for your stories
Child profiles, including the parental control settings and PIN you set
Family data you own, such as members and invitations
Notification tokens for your devices
Your profile, sign-in data, and linked sign-in methods

What we keep

Some records are not removed when you delete your account:

Payment and subscription records required for accounting are kept by our payment processor, Stripe, under its own retention policies. We do not store your card details
We keep subscription consent records and refund request records after account deletion, for billing and legal record-keeping

Deletion is permanent

Deleted accounts and stories cannot be recovered. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first. You can manage your subscription on the pricing page, then delete your account.

Can't sign in?

If you cannot access your account, email us from the address registered to it and ask for your account and data to be deleted: support@tehnolabs.com
